When is an interpreter necessary?
Any time effective and clear communication is needed. Communication must be effective for all parties involved. The mode of communication should be decided upon by the Deaf, DeafBlind, or Hard of Hearing consumer.
Who's responsibility is it to hire and pay for the interpreter?
According to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other state and federal laws, places of public accommodations, including profit, non-profit and government entities, are required to provide effective communication for Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing individuals.

OUR SERVICES
In-Person Interpreting
We specialize in providing reliable ASL interpreting services for a wide range of events and appointments that meet in person. Many Deaf prefer this over remote since ASL is a 3D language and technology cannot always be trusted. Our in-person interpreters ensure a timely arrival, clear and precise communication, while bridging the communication gap for all participants.
Video Remote Interpreting (VRI)
Our VRI services offer convenient access to qualified interpreters via secure video connections. This technology enables effective communication in real time, making it an ideal solution for remote interactions and urgent interpreting needs.
Deaf-Blind Interpreting
We are experienced in facilitating communication for individuals who are deaf-blind, utilizing specialized techniques to convey information tactually and visually. Our interpreters are adept at adapting to the unique communication preferences of each client. In addition to Interpreters, we can provide you with Co-Navigators (CNs) and Support Service Providers (SSPs) when extra support is needed.
